The ImmPRESS-HRP Anti-Rabbit IgG (Horseradish Peroxidase) Polymer Detection Kit is made in horse and targets rabbit primary antibodies. This IHC staining system uses novel conjugation chemistry to create a highly sensitive, ready-to-use, one-step, biotin-free detection system. (A combination of highly active enzyme (peroxidase or alkaline phosphatase) and affinity-purified secondary antibodies results in crisp, strong staining. The ImmPRESS micropolymer technology minimizes steric interference and provides enhanced accessibility to the primary antibody targets. The IHC immunostaining protocol is simple. Following a blocking step with 2.5% horse serum, sections are incubated with primary antibody. After a brief wash, the appropriate ImmPRESS Reagent is added to the sections and incubated for 30 minutes. Sections are again rinsed and the slides are developed with a peroxidase or alkaline phosphatase substrate. The ImmPRESS Reagent is ready-to-use and stains 75-150 sections.

Novocastra Epitope Retrieval Solutions are intended for Heat Induced Epitope Retrieval (HIER) on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections as part of an immunohistochemical procedure. HIER using an appropriate pH solution improves the staining of some antibodies by exposing epitopes within tissue that have been masked during fixation. A universal HIER technique suitable for all epitopes does not exist. A combination of different heating methods and epitope retrieval solutions may be used to optimize unmasking of antigens where this technique is recommended. HIER is not recommended for all antibodies. Optimum conditions for epitope retrieval should be validated by the user, as these are dependent upon tissue, fixation and/or primary antibody. RE7119 is supplied as a 1 L volume, sufficient to prepare 10 L of working solution. It is a Tris/EDTA-based buffer and should be diluted with de-ionized water to prepare a working solution. Lyo-Ready DNA RT-qPCR Stool is a glycerol-free, high-concentration, ready-to-use RT-qPCR formulation engineered with a proprietary buffer system designed for overcoming inhibitors found in stool. It allows accurate target amplification direct from stool samples and can be used in multiplex assays that require minimal sample processing and fast turn-around times without compromising sensitivity, for low copy number samples. It also increase reproducibility in extracted samples, as extraction methods are not always 100% efficient, often resulting in loss of target nucleic acid and potential co-purification of stool PCR inhibitors, such as bile, that can interfere with amplification, leading to false-negative results.
